From the archives: Kamla for leader

This is the historic poster that Kamla used to launch her campaign for the leadership of the United National Congress on Dec. 12, 2009. It became the symbol of the "Kamlamania" that followed. She won the leadership on Jan. 24, 2010, in a landslide victory against UNC founder leader Basdeo Panday.
