Top US officials praise Dookeran's book

American Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, has praised a new book by Foreign Minister Winston Dookeran, who wrote and released the publication "Power, Politics and Performance" while he held the portfolio of Minister of Finance. 

In a message to Dookeran Clinton said, "I appreciate your thoughtfulness and good cheer and I am grateful for your leadership in placing Trinidad and Tobago on a path towards sustainable growth." 

Dookeran also got a positve review from former U.S. Secretary of State, Colin Powell who commended the book as being "on mark and comprehensive."

Dookeran launched the book in Trinidad on April 16. He will unveil it internationally at the World Bank conference entitled, Caribbean Growth Forum at the UWI Campus, Mona, Jamaica.
