It begins and ends at the Grand Stand area in the Queen's Park Savannah, starting at 4 pm. Registration for the event, which is free, has already begun and ends on Friday May 25.
The event, in its fifth year, is separated into two components. There is the 5K race for those who want to compete seriously and then there is the Fun Walk/Run, which is one lap around the Savannah.
Race competitors can register ONLY at the Ministry of Works Head Office building, located at the corner of Richmond and London Streets, Port of Spain.
Fun/Walk participants, however, can register at the Ministry’s Head Office or at the following Kenny’s Sports Stores: West Mall, Port of Spain, Trincity, and San Fernando.
There are great prizes to be won and medals for all finishers. There will be activities for children including a Bouncy Castle and Face Painting.
