US$43M drug bust in Caribbean Sea

The U.S. Coast guard has intercepted a speedboat in the Caribbean Sea that was carrying a cargo of cocaine with a street value of US$43 million.

Media reports said the coast guard seized 3,532 pounds of cocaine and arrested four people.

The major drug bust in the latest collaborative regional effort called Operation Martill, which is designed to block drug shipments heading to the United States.
