Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar will be among CARICOM leaders holding bilateral discussions with U.S. President Barack Obama at the VI Summit of the Americas in Cartegena, Columbia.
Obama requested the meeting, which comes on the heels of strategic moves by CARICOM to reinforce its relations with the Latin American region through its membership in CELAC, the Community of Latin American and the Caribbean.
