The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure is closing a section of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway to facilitate the placement of overhead beams for the Maloney Walkover.
"The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the general public that the construction of the Maloney Walkover over the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (CRH) which commenced in October 2011, will continue with the placement of overhead beams on Saturday 21st April, 2012 from 10 p.m. and will be continuing for the duration of two (2) days. As such, in order to facilitate these works:
"Northerly and Southerly Diversions for Eastbound and Westbound motorists on the CRH will be provided accordingly. Police personnel and directional signs will be in place to help guide motorists along these alternate routes (see maps and options).
"Additionally, the Priority Bus Route (PBR) will also be open to all motorists on Sunday April 22, from 6 a.m. to midnight.
"Construction vehicles and equipment will enter and leave the work site via the Mausica Intersection along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway. In light of the above, motorists are advised of the following:
The closure will be on Saturday from 10 in the evening and on Sunday.
The ministry has advised that in order to facilitate the construction work there will be some changes to the traffic movement in the area.

- Please be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site
- Motorists should drive at a reduced speed on approaching the site entry/exit locations.
