Jack Warner knocked down statements made in Parliament by Diego Martin Central MP Amery Browne about what Browne called a scandal at the National Maintenance, Training and Security Company (MTS).
The MP charged on Friday that MTS chairman Jim Murad Mohammed, who he did not name, has been renting vehicles from his company to the MTS at inflated prices and that there were no tenders or formal agreements on the matter.

The Chaguanas West MP told legislators that Mohammed's company does not import Ford Rangers and Isuzu pickup vehicles. He added that Mohammed told him that the short-term rental in MTS was inherited from the PNM.
Warner said the records would show the board had requested a total evaluation of the process and is almost ready with a proper tendering process.
"It debunks totally what we were told earlier by the Member for Diego Martin Central (Dr Amery Browne),” Warner said.
Warner also went after PNM MP Patricia McIntosh's "extensive lecture in race relations" and asked her why no Indian was put in a safe PNM seat. He noted that he was put in Chaguanas West, which has a population that was 95 per cent Indian.
Warner said Rowley's motive for the no confidence against the Prime Minister was to establish his authority within the PNM, which he said Rowley does not currently have. “It is the Opposition Leader who has a confidence problem,” Warner said.
Warner suggested that when Patrick Manning returned Rowley would have trouble once again.
