AG Ramlogan: PNM has reached the lowest form of gutter politics

Today's quote from Attorney General Anand Ramlogan, in reference to a charge by the opposition PNM that Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has been allowing family members to visit the PM's official residence and enjoy the perks reserved for the PM:

“We are witnessing all-out onslaught against the personality of the Prime Minister because the PNM cannot deal with the issues affecting the country any more.

"They have lost the moral authority and stability to deal with the issues, so they gone to shoes, sweater and even gone so far to hit where it hurts the most, they gone to the lowest form of gutter politics to attack her family.”

Foreign Affairs Minister Surujrattan Rambachan: “The Prime Minister has every right to invite whomever nephew or nieces she wants to invite to her home, whether it is in Philippine or the Prime Minister’s residence. She occupies it and she has every right to continue to love and cherish her family.”
