McFarlane wins again, takes Ban of the Year 6 years in a row

Brian Mac Farlane has done it again. For the sixth year in a row he has won the Band of the Year title, taking the George Bailey trophy with his presentation - "Sanctification – In Search Of." The band scored 1337 points

Second place went to Trini Revellers with their presentation of "The Golden Years" (1278 points) ; Legacy's "Flight" placed third with 1246 points.

Mac Farlane has now matched the record set by late Wayne Berkley between 1989 and1994.

The Harold Saldenah Band of the Year Award for medium bands went to the Word and Associates with their presentation of Exodus, the Second Book of the Bible. The controversial Catholic band scored 1208 points.
