Photo story: President Richards wants closer ties with Cuba

President George Maxwell Richards hosted a state banquet on Wednesday night for visiting heads of governments attending the Caricom Cuba summit.

Among the guests was Cuban President Raul Castro. The President suggested that there should be closer ties between Cuba and Trinidad & Tobago in the fields of culture, tourism, sport and academia. 

In a brief address he also suggested that there could be direct flights between T&T and Cuba.
