Photo story: Father Harris takes over as new Archbishop of POS

Father Joseph Harris on Thursday officially became the head of the Roman Catholic Church in Trinidad & Tobago, taking over from retired archbishop Edward Gilbert.

The installation ceremony took place at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Independence Square, Port-of-Spain. Harris is the former parish priest for St Ann’s. The Pope announced his appointment in July this year.
