Attorney General Anand Ramlogan told reporters Thursday he knows where to find former UDeCOTT Executive Chairman Calder Hart.
"I do happen to know where he is. I have spoken to the Commissioner of Police and Commissioner Gibbs has given me every assurance that he knows where to find him, if and when he is required to do so.
"Let us not forget that he has a home and property in Trinidad and Tobago and his son still resides there," Ramlogan said in response to a question about whether he knows the whereabouts of Hart.
"When I need him, I know what to do to find him as well because obviously, we have to serve civil proceedings on Mr Hart, we will have to take certain measures and steps in order to serve him with papers."
Ramlogan said the State plans to file a civil action every month for the rest of this year in these matters.
