Minister of the People and Social Development Dr. Glenn Ramadharsingh took his ministry's "Direct Impact" to Woodland in Oropouche West Saturday where hundreds waited for assistance with various services.
Ramadharsingh promised the MP for the constituency, Stacy Roopnarine, that he would donate 10 wheelchairs to her ‘Project Touch’ initiative, which Roopnarine launched on January 29 to help people with the greatest need.
The project, like the ministry's "Direct Impact" program, is also geared at taking services to the people.
