State funeral for Sir Ellis begins at 11:30. Watch it live

The State funeral for Sir Ellis Clarke begins at 11:30 am Trinidad time (10:30 am ET) Friday at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) in Port of Spain.

President Max Richards, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and Chief Justice Ivor Archie - representing the three arms of the state - will pay tribute the Sir Ellis. There will also be readings from the scriptures by the country's three main religious denominations - Christians, Hindus and Muslims.
