Photo story: Relax, the package is on the way!

If you live in North America you are probably familiar with the adverstising tag line, "Relax, it's FedEx!". In the developed world, courier services are - well, DEVELOPED.

It's not necessarily the same in countries like India and China. Yet, amazingly, despite the lack of the facilities the job gets done by harworking couriers who have unbelievable skills. 

The four pictures below, sent to JYOTI by a friend, were take by French Phorographer Alain Delorme in Shanghai. They are from a series taken in 2009 and 2010.

 

 

 

The couriers are mostly migrant workers from other parts of China. Relax, your parcel is on the way!
