Letter: Provocations wasting the nation's time

We cannot permit Patrick Manning to continue to waste parliamentary and the nation's time with his ongoing wild and totally unsupported allegations and accusations against the Prime Minister.

These allegations are continuing for one purpose and one purpose only: to disrupt the business of parliament and the nation.

It is time for the Prime Minister to file her suits for libel, slander and defamation against Manning, and to have him therefore muzzled in public. The nation's business demands this.

It is time for the Speaker to rule on the motion for Manning to be taken before the Privileges Committee of Parliament, and to prevent Manning from making continuing unsupported allegations against the Prime Minister. But if Manning has evidence, let him bring it.

The nation's business demands that Mrs. Bissessar's house be taken off the agenda.
