Photo story: PM meets with Dr. Philipp Rösler in Panama

Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar, SC,  is greeted by Philipp Rosier, Managing Director of World Economic Forum at the World Economic Forum in Panama City.
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar met Tuesday with Former German Vice-Chancellor and Economy Minister, Philipp Rösler, in Panama City.

Dr Rösler joins the 2014 World Economic Forum as Managing Director and Member of the Managing Board. Dr. Rösler has been engaged in important issues in the German health system and played a key role in Chancellor Angela Merkel's Cabinet, driving forward Germany’s economic agenda.

The World Economic Forum, which is taking place in Panama, has evolved from a modest yet ground-breaking attempt to convene European corporate stakeholders to discuss business strategies into an organization that today is widely regarded as the world’s foremost multi-stakeholder platform for public-private partnership.

Prime Minister Persad-Bissessar will participate in a panel Wednesday for a discussion on the theme: "Opening Pathways for Shared progress".
