Photo story: Bharath thanks China, optimistic about expanded trade

Trade Minister Vasant Bharath and members of the Trade delegation that accompanied Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar on her state visit to China were guests on Thursday at a dinner hosted by Huang Xingyuan, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. 

Huang stated that the visit was a success and that it has opened great trade and economic opportunities. Bharath expressed gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago for the hospitality extended to the Trinidad and Tobago delegation. 

"Trinidad and Tobago is on the cusp of huge success, and strongly believes that the recent State Visit will produce results both economically and diplomatically and there is much to gain mutually from this relationship for both countries," Bharath stated.
