Photo story: T&T Trade Officials visit Beijing Construction Engineering Group

Trade Minister Vasant Bharath paid a visit to Xing Yan, Managing Director, Beijing Construction Engineering Group (BCG) and Senior Executives at the company's Headquarters in Beijing on Monday 24 February, 2014. 

The meeting sought to reaffirm a commitment to collaborate in designing and building the six Industrial Parks in Trinidad. Bharath noted that this was the first time that the T&T Government has worked so closely on a number of projects with the Chinese Government. He said he is optimistic that this is the start of a mutual relationship not just between companies but between the Governments of both countries with a view of building and strengthening business relationships. 

The minister was accompanied by Randall Karim, Director Policy and Strategy MTII, Kelvin Mahabir, President eTecK and Robert Salandy, Director eTeck 
The hosted also invited the MTII team to a dinner of Chinese cuisine.
