Letter: Walk the talk, Dr Rowley

I read in today's newspaper (08 Jan. 2014) that the Opposition Leader is stating that since 2010 he committed his party to work wit the Government in Parliament to pass any legislation that will lower the crime rates.

However, in 2014 we have bare evidence of such.
So far the Defence amendment bill and the Capital Offences Bill have been rejected by the Oppostion. The recent Bail Amendment adds to hope to us citizens as the Opposition already indicated their position.

For the sake of the innocent citizens who are losing their lives and loved ones to the heartless, I plead with the leaders of our country to come to some consensus. If there is any time, it is now!
