A strong 6.4 magnitude earthquake rattled Trinidad Friday night just after ten O'Clock.
The Seismic Research Centre at University of the West Indies measured the quake and stated that it occured at 10:10 p.m. North of the Paria Peninsula Trinidad.

There are no reports of damage or injury. However it knocked out power supplies in some areas.
Friday's quake is the strongest recorded in the country in several months. There have been several small tremors since August. People attending political meetings in Debe, Princes Town and Point Fortin felt the quake.
