Clifton De Coteau has taken over the gender, youth and child development ministry. Raziah Ahmed has been appointed to the Senate and made a Minister in the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Child Development.
In the realigned cabinet, Roodal Moonilal's ministry has been split in two, Chandresh Sharma has moved to tourism and Stephen Cadiz has been handed the transport portfolio. Jairam Seemungal has got a ministry, as has Rodger Samuel. Emmanuel George has moved from National Security to the Justice Ministry, replacing Christlyn Moore, whose senate appointment has also been revoked.
