UNC MNF forum at Chaguanas Government Primary School

The United National Congress (UNC) is holding its Monday Nght Forum at the Chaguanas Government Primary School in Chaguanas, Monday night beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Political Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar is delivering the features address in which she is expected to provide details of public expenditure allocated for infrastructure development in the Chaguanas West constituency.

Persad-Bissessar told reporters over the weekendher party's candidate, Khadijah Ameen, is getting overwhelming support. "Each day it's getting better and better, it is very encouraging, but we must leave nothing to chance, that is why we are here on the ground, because election day is the most important, so all the love and all the support, so thank you very much, but that must translate into votes," she said.

She also said the election is bigger that just Chaguanas West.

“People are waking up and understanding the issue is not just about Chaguanas West, the issue is about the government of the country. And when you come and you speak to them one-on-one they are understanding more. The issue is not just about a box drain, the issue is about the government of Trinidad and Tobago," Persad-Bissessar stated.
