It is with profound pleasure and great excitement that I convey, on behalf of my government and the people of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, since congratulations on the birth of your great grandson, who by God’s grace, is destined to be third in line to the British throne. 

We, in Trinidad and Tobago, as well as many other citizens in the Caribbean region are delighted at the news that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been safely delivered of a healthy, beautiful heir to the Royal family.

Your Majesty, please accept our best wishes and extend to the Royal couple, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge our congratulations and kindest wishes for continued health and prosperity as they nurture and direct a new addition into the promising era of progress.

This remarkable event is indeed an auspicious and timely blessing as we continue to celebrate your Majesty’s Jubilee. May God Bless and keep safe, the new Prince of Cambridge and grant him health, happiness and a long life of service to his subjects.
