Letter; Rowley's list of hyperboles, lies, half truths and innuendos

One of these days the PNM's rank and file will rise up against the Quixotic leadership of Dr Keith Rowley. With no Julian Pena around and Ysenia Gonzalez unable to foresee her own predicaments, only Father Time could identify the precise moment...but my arthritic joints warn me it's around the bend.

In the three years since taking over from Patrick Manning, Dr Rowley has led his followers on a wholly unproductive, wild goose chase, horsing around with hyperboles, lies, half-truths and innuendos, such as:
  1. things were better under PNM
  2. the Partnership wouldn't last six months
  3. Kamla hates non-Indians
  4. Calcutta ship is coming
  5. Landate never happened
  6. Machel Montano is a nonentity
  7. Kamla mustn't choose her Personal Assistant
  8. Milshirv is alright
  9. the AG lost to BAE
  10. PNM never voted for Section 34
  11. Parliament doesn't have the power to repeal laws
  12. a no-confidence motion every six months will keep a government on its toes
  13. soldiers are merciless killers
  14. ruthless criminals don't belong in jail
  15. foreigners mustn't spearhead the Police Service
  16. local police can't be trusted so bring in foreign investigators
  17. money falls from the skies
  18. only PNM members must get government jobs and contracts
  19. image consultants could change a leopard's spots
  20. the education system used to be in excellent shape
  21. traffic jams are of recent vintage
  22. POS never flooded before
  23. Los Attajos, Roussilac and Malgretoute are foreign countries
  24. HCU was Hindu so it could reincarnate by itself
  25. CL Financial needed a $30 billion injection to catch itself
  26. it wasn't a bad deal to throw away $500m to find out if a Rapid Rail was a good deal
  27. fake email accounts are real
  28. petitions don't require signatures
Rowley and his PNM colleagues must really think the majority of citizens are fools. The People's Partnership needs to ignore them and keep focused on the long term.

Sincerely,

Princess Orie-Collis (Mrs) | Curepe.
