AG Anand Ramlogan had a new look when he presented marriage officer's certificates at his office in Port of Spain Wednesday. He was sporting what looked like high-end dark shades.

Well it's not really a new look. He had minor eye surgery to remove a cyst from his left eyelid and his doctor advised him to use the shades as protection ... and to take some rest. 

“It was just to remove a small cyst on the eye,” Ramlogan told curious reporters. “I was told that I had very long eyelashes so that it picks up some dust particles. People with long, curved eyelashes tend to pick up dust particles in the ends of the eyelashes and that contributes to clogging up the pores and that is what results in the cyst that had to be removed.”

He added, "I am told it should not be anything major. It’s just that I have to take it easy for a couple of days.”
