Letter: COP should start delivering and stop complaining

In all my life I'm yet to see a tail wagging a dog, it's always the other way around. So, what's this with the Congress of the People now? Why must Mr Warner apologize to them?

COP is in parliament only because foolishly they were also given safe UNC seats, why can't they settle down and lend a hand to the hand that fed them instead of behaving like spoilt brats?

So much work to be done, yet everyday it's only COP sniping and griping. Look nah man, it's time someone calls on the COP ministers to produce evidence of what they've done or get out!

Running through the list quickly we can see Dr Glenn Ramadharsingh delivering, Dr Suruj Rambachan delivering, Emmanuel George delivering, Dr Moonilal delivering, Nizam Baksh delivering, don't talk about Kevin Ramnarine, Vasant Bharath, Jack Warner and Anand Ramlogan, they're in a zone very few can attain. Prime Minister Kamla, like a Suave Shepherdess, has been reviving our international prestige in her own inimitable style.

Apart from setting up Judge Herbert Volney who was functioning with rapid-fire and precision, what the cowfoot have Prakash Ramadhar, Dr Winston Dookeran, Dr Lincoln Douglas and Carolyn Seepersad-Bachan done besides squirming and dilly-dallying over what's in their plates to be done?

You'd realize I left out Dr Rodger Samuel and Anil Roberts? I did so for three reasons: 1. They're performers; 2. they understand the difference between being in government and being in opposition; 3. they are teamplayers not teambreakers.

When you really study it, it's the COP who must apologize to Jack Warner and everybody, since we had so much hope in them playing a vital role in cleaning up the mess PNM created and which still suffocating the better prospects for Trinidad and Tobago. But they're a complete disappointment.
