Feature: good start for constitutional reform consultation; Let your voices be heard

The National Consultation on Constitution Reform held another successful session on Tuesday at the Himalaya Club, San Juan. It was the second public session since Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar launched the consultation on Saturday. (Read the story: Don't tinker with fundamental rights...)
"As a diverse and plural society, we require a Constitution that more fully and accurately reflects our past and present experiences. We also need a strong legal framework that will provide for the future needs of this Nation."

The next session is being held on Saturday at the Arima Town Hall, starting at 5:30 pm. The graphic below gives the full schedule of hearings for March.

The commssion has been running a series of polls on key issues in constitutional reform. Here is a snapshot of how people have reacted so far to the questions in the poll.
