Letter: Who are Kublalsingh's visitors?

The so-called prominent people visiting Kublalsingh are all people from in and around Port of Spain, people who did not care about areas outside of Port of Spain while they fed in the trough of the treasury under the PNM government.

Maybe they are there because the PP government have them on a fast too as it tries to develop the rest of the country, which the PNM never did.

We can see why the country remained backward when they can so easily be taken in by a con man on a 'food assisted' hunger strike - claiming he starving for almost two weeks now. He not fooling Country people.

Since when these Town people started to care about what happened to Country people - most of them do not even know or care where the highway is being built far less about the area and people that will be brought into the modern age?
