Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said on Monday Wayne Kublalsingh has a copy of the technical report on the highway to Point Fortin and that anyone can see the report because it is a public document.
Supporters of the Highway Reroute Movement have been asking the PM to make the report public. Speaking at a political meeting at the Debe High School in Debe she produced the document as well as an affidavit sworn by Kublalsingh in which he stated that he received the document.
She also produced another document that she received earlier in the day from NIDCO, the state company that is overseeing the construction of the highway. She said any citizen can apply to see any of the documents through the freedom of information act.
