Mc Comie new Director of Communications at OPM

The office of the Prime Minister (OPM) announced on Wednesday that Dennis Mc Comie has been appointed Director of Information and Communications at the Office of the Prime Minister. 

Mc Comie is a former broadcaster who worked at NBS Radio 610. He is probably best known as the journalist/broadcaster who kept communications open with the public during the failed 1990 Muslimeen coup. 

He is the author a book on the uprising: 1990: The Personal Account of a Journalist Under Siege

Kimberly Mackhan and Kailash Jaikaransingh, have also joined the unit in the posts of Communications Specialist.

The Communications Unit is committed to facilitating an open dialogue between the Office of the Prime Minister and the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
