Tourism Minister Cadiz in hospital in Miami

Tourism Minister Stephen cadiz is in hospital in Miami. He fell ill Sunday as he was enroute to a conference in Seattle.

The Office of the Prime Minister in Port of Spain issued a media release Sunday about the matter:

It stated that "Cadiz is presently hospitalised in Miami at Metropolitan Hospital in a stable condition after falling ill earlier today (Sunday) en route to Seattle.

"The Minister has undergone a series of examinations and is being held overnight for observation. He will be discharged tomorrow (Monday).

"Other members of his delegation will proceed as planned to Seattle."
