It's the second time that Baptiste-Cornelis has been removed from a top post. She was fired as Minister of health in the first cabinet shuffle in June 2011 and appointed to the Geneva post.
Former National Security Minister John Sandy is among persons being considered for the Geneva diplomatic post. Sandy was removed from his ministerial portfolio in the June 2012 changes to cabinet.
