Acting Prime Minister Jack Warner missed an important event Wednesday because of an allergic reaction.
Warner was listed to deliver the feature address at the Trade and Investment Convention's (TIC) opening ceremony at the Hyatt Regency.
However, he was hit by a food allergey and was uncomfortable about giving a speech under those circumstances. Trade Minister Stephen Cadiz stepped in and delivered the speech.
Warner's media adviser, Francis Joseph, assured local media that all is well. "He's all right," Joseph said, without giving specifics about the matter.
