Rowley leaves for india Sunday as part of T&T Parliamentary delegation

Opposition Leader Keith Rowley is leaving for India Sunday as part of a Trinidad & Tobago parliamentary delegation.

Others on the team include:

• Planning Minister Bhoe Tewarie
• House of Representatives Speaker Wade Mark
• Senate President Timothy Hamel-Smith
• Minister in the Ministry of Education, Clifton De Coteau
• Independent Senator Helen Drayton

The team will spend one day observing India’s Parliament. Parliament is paying for the roundtrip airfares for members of the delegation, who are scheduled to return home on march 20. The government of India is picking up all other costs.

in January, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar paid a State Visit to India along with a trade and investment delegation.
