Photo story: PM says Bon Voyage to India Parliamentary delegation

Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar met briefly at Piarco International Airport with members of a Trinidad & Tobago delegation to India for a Parliamentary conference there. She later left for Panama for a two-day state visit.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Wade Mark is leading the delegation, which includes:

Senate President Timothy Hamel-Smith

• Opposition Leader Keith Rowley
• Planning Minister Bhoe Tewarie
• Minister in the Ministry of Education the Hon. Clifton De Coteau
• Independent Senator Helen Drayton

The team will observe India’s Parliament. The Trinidad and Tobago Parliament will pay for the cost of the roundtrip airfares for all members of the delegation, who are scheduled to return home on March 20th 2012. The Government of India will host the delegation and pay all local costs.
