Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has told reporters the no confidence filed by Opposition leader Keith Rowley is “frivolous, vexatious and totally without merit.”
Persad-Bissessar made the point Thursday night as she toured mas camps and panyards with Multicultural minister Winston peters.
Rowley filed the motion of no confidence in Persad-Bissessar on Wednesday. It is expected to be debated in the House of Representatives after Carnival.
The Prime Minister also confirmed that Cabinet has decided to transfer the Anti-Corruption Investigation Bureau from the Office of the Attorney General to the National Security Ministry.
