Chaguanas mayor OK after heart operation

The Mayor of Chaguanas, Orlando Nagassar, has successfully undergone cardiac bypass surgery at the Mount Hope Hospital, where he is resting comfortably.

During his absence, Deputy Mayor Gopaul Boodhan will be acting in his place. Nagassar is expected to be away from office for at least two months.
