Photo story: NP Directors contribute $40,000 to Children's Life Fund

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar on Friday received a cheque for $40,000 forthe Children’s Life fund from Neil Gosine, Chairman of The National Petroleum Company (NP).

The money has come from contributions by the NP Chairman and its eleven Board members who made voluntary contributions from their salaries between October 2010 and October 2011. 

The Chairman’s contribution was 10 per cent and the Board members 5 per cent. The Board intends to make this an annual contribution.

The Prime Minister expressed her appreciation to the Chairman and the Board for their kind contribution and the generosity.
