Attorney General Anand Ramlogan told the media on Thursday the operations under the State of Emergency have been a "resounding success" so far. And he stated that the 'big fish' is also being targeted.

"People seem to think that these gang leaders and these gangs are small fries. The gangs that we are after are big fish. The gang leaders are very big fish and the money that they trade in and the illegal activities that they are involved in makes them very big fish", Ramlogan said.
Ramlogan added that the targeted gangs are highly sophisticated, with rankings, street status, personal creeds, colours and dress codes.
He described as “phenomenal” the fact that four people are being arrested every hour.
