UNC chairman Jack Warner and UNC leader Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar are expected to jointly chair the meeting.
One issue that's expected to be on the agenda is the UNC's internal elections, which are due by January 2012.
The party's constitution states that the election must be held every two years. The last election, which saw Persad-Bissessar beating former UNC leader Basdeo Panday in a landslide to take over the party, was held on January 24, 2010.
All executive posts will be up for election, including that of political leader. While there is unlikely to be any serious challenge to Persad-Bissessar, there have been rumblings in the heartland of the party suggesting that many members are unhappy with the state of affairs.
Last week Panday held a meeting in South Trinidad and told supporters they they should "take back" their party, which he said was "stolen" from them.
The party is also expected to discuss several matters affecting the People's Partnership and the recent realignment of positions in the cabinet.
