Photo story: T&T gets new Archbishop; second local to reach top position in chruch

The Pope has appointed Father Joseph Everard Harris Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Port-of-Spain, with effect from Decemeber 26, 2011. He will succeed Archbishop Edward Gilbert, becoming the country's 10th Archbishop and only the second national to reach the position in the Catholic Church on December 26.

Archbishop Anthony Pantin was the first local priest to reach the position.
