To dramatise her problem she has decided to camp outside the San Fernando West Constituency office of Carolyn Seepersad-Bachan with three of her daughters. She told the Express newspaper she will stay there until she finds a home.
Hodge works in the Unemployment Relief Programme (URP) and used to live with a relative who can no longer accomodate the family.
She told the Express that she received a letter from Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar since May this year.
"I received a letter from the Prime Minister. She said that all my information was sent to Glenn Ramadharsingh, that he will be in charge of that. She said it was an emergency case. Up to now, nothing has been done. I am very disappointed in him. Nobody has tried to help me really, only concerned citizens," the paper quoted Hodge as saying.
The Express said it contacted Ramadharsingh who said his ministry has forwarded Hodge's information to the Housing Development Corporation.
