The Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha (SDMS) has received a donation of a quarter million dollars from Republic Bank for its annual Baal Vikaas Vihaar. The finals of the event take place this weekend at the Maha Sabha’s headquarters at St Augustine.
The money is for prizes to the top achievers in the Ramayan quiz and Ramayan art competition. It's the third consecutive year that the bank has contributed to the event as part of its social investment programme, the Power to Make A Difference.
