But he is making up for it with a motorcade on Sunday during which he will make stops in several areas of his Chaguanas West constituency to meet people and distribute gifts.
He has invited anyone who wishes to join the motorcade to assemble at the car park of the Caroni Bird Sanctuary at eight in the morning for the drive along through the constituency.
The Works and Transport Minister would deliver at speech between one and two in the afternoon at the Jubilee Recreation Ground in Felicity.
