Carrington is T&T's ambassador to CARICOM

Former CARICOM Secretary General Edwin Carrington is Trinidad and Tobago’s new ambassador to the Caribbean Community. He will receive his instruments of appointment Wednesday

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar made the announcement Tuesday when she addressed an India-Trinidad and Tobago Business Forum held at the Hyatt Regency in Port-of-Spain.

Carrington retired from his CARICOM post at the end of 2010 after serving for 18 years.
