Watch out for cabinet changes in June: PM Kamla

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said on Friday she will make some cabinet changes in June, announcing that it is something she had planned to do after her government's first year in office.announced.

However she did not describe it as a cabinet reshuffle. "There would be a realignment of portfolios," she told reporters in Penal. "By the time we get into June it should be ready," she said.

The Prime Minister made the comments after she launched the start of road works at Pluck Road, Woodland.

She highlighted three ministers - Jack Warner, Emmanuel George and Fazal Karim - whom she described as performers.

The Prime Minister also said she is pleased with the peerformance of her government in its first year. However she added,"There is always room for improvement."
