Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar made surprise visits Sunday to members of the Faith Centre Full Gospel Church, the JC McDonald Home for the Aged and two children's homes in San Fernando.
At the JC McDonald Home for the Aged, she spoke with the elderly and distributed flowers and fruits. Persad-Bissessar.
She also met Hannah Bhoopsingh, 96, who was the first female principal of a Presbyterian primary school in Trinidad and Tobago.
At the church in San Fernando, Persad-Bissessar and San Fernando Mayor Marlene Coudray joined the choir, led by Bishop Carlyle Chankersingh.
