Acting Prime Minister Jack Warner on Saturday congratulated Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on India's victory in the final of the ICC World Cup Tournament.

April 2, 2011: Honourable Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of the Republic of India on behalf of the people of Trinidad and Tobago, it gives me the greatest pleasure to offer sincerest congratulations to the people of India on the victory of the Indian Cricket Team in the just-concluded ICC World Cup Tournament.
From the start of this prestigious world tournament, the team led by its industrious captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni showed the kind of temperament that is necessary to lead his team to victory against the best teams in the world of cricket.
