Thursday's cabinet meeting is expected to discuss a recommendation to change the board of state-owned Caribbean Airlines (CAL).
Line minister Jack Warner suspended the board's decision making powers last week following a board meeting attended by all members.
Warner has briefed Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar on the matter
The minister stated there is "turbulence" within the board and that it is affecting operations of the airline. Report say at least five members of the board have complained about the the chairman, businessman George Nicholas III.
